1. Purpose and identification of the Data Controller

This privacy policy  aims to provide clear information about the processing of personal data of end customers, chefs  and, in general, of all users, collected during the use of the website  clochez.com  (hereinafter, the “ Site ”) pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter, the “ GDPR ”) and national legislation on the protection of personal data.

  1. Data subject to processing, retention period and legal basis

By using the Site, the user may be asked to provide various types of personal data (by which we mean any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, defined as “data subject”), which are therefore listed in summary below, together with their respective purposes:

  1. Identification data : this is any information that identifies the user of the Site, such as, for example, name, surname, date of birth, tax code, contact details and the like.

The storage of navigation data will be limited to the time strictly necessary to satisfy the analysis needs and, in any case, will not exceed 2 years , without prejudice to the need to apply a longer storage period in the event of investigations by the Public Authority. 

The legal basis for the processing of browsing data is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller (art. 6, letter f of the GDPR), as well as, alternatively, the consent expressed by the user (art. 6, letter a of the GDPR), when aimed at profiling the habits of the user.

At the  end  of the retention period indicated for each category of personal data, they will be deleted. Therefore, at the expiration of this term the right  of  access, cancellation, rectification and the right to portability  of  personal data can no longer be exercised.

  1. Sharing personal data with third parties 

With reference to the processing purposes listed in the previous paragraph,  the  Site shares users' personal data with third-party service providers, including companies specialized in the identification and prevention of fraud, providers of analysis and statistics services, providers of services related to advertising and marketing , etc.

  • obtain the deletion of your personal data for which consent has been revoked or, in any case, in the event that such data is no longer necessary with respect to the purposes for which it was processed, or if its deletion is required to fulfill a legal obligation or imposed by the public authority;
  • obtain the limitation of processing: in this case, the Data Controller will not process the personal data for any purpose other than their storage;
  • receive your personal data on a readable medium to transfer them to another owner without impediments by the Owner: this right can be exercised when the personal data are processed with automated tools and the processing is based on the user's consent, on the need to fulfill a contract to which the user is a party;
  • lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority or take legal action.

To exercise their rights in relation to the processing of personal data, users may address a request to the contact details of the Owner indicated in this Privacy Policy. Requests are processed by the Owner as soon as possible, in any case within one month.

  1. Right to object

In addition to the rights listed above, the user has the right to object to the processing of his/her personal data, when the processing is based on the legitimate interest of the Owner, or when it is carried out for direct marketing purposes .

If the user objects to the processing carried out for direct marketing purposes , the personal data will no longer be processed for such purposes.

  1. Privacy Policy Changes

The Owner reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time, notifying the circumstance to users, through specific notifications, or, if the change significantly affects the protection of personal data, through notification to the contacts of individual users.
